Molang Diary...What's in Mine and a GIVEAWAY!!!

So I would call what I have is a mild addiction to asian stationary!! It started with the Hobonichi and well...it's just been down hill since then!! I love how a.) cute it is b.) how the books lie flat c.) the size and the list goes on. I just can't get enough. I love the little diary stickers, pens it's just so adorable. So during my searching I found a Molang Diary. Anytime I find something I want to see the inside of I search on Instagram and Pinterest. I was just flooded with adorable pictures of peoples diaries.  The first thing I noticed was that it was undated!! I LOVE that!! No pressure I can fill it in as I please!!

The little diary from what I found on Ebay came in like an ivory, fuchsia pink and robin egg blue colors. The seller that I purchased from asked $9.95 and they came in about a week from Korea to the U.S. They also came with a few diary stickers that are just adorable!!

Here is a month spread and as you can see you date it as you please!! I just love that and I went out and purchased some really cute date stamps from Target and the smash book section at Michaels!

I just can't get over all the adorable pictures inside of the diary!! They are just too cute!!
And I love the detail because I think alot of us stationary nuts love these cute little details!

The week at a glance starts on a monday and ends on a Sunday which I love. I like to have my weekends together because I usually plan for the weekend and don't love it when Sunday is on the next page.

There is also a to do list at the beginning of every month, I like to use this as an index as well as highlights of events to make it easier to reference later!

Just love the little details. There is a pen loop hidden in the back!!
Just love this little guy! Bought myself another one and also one to giveaway to one of you!!

  8. Such a cute planner. I think this type of diary would be perfect for me to capture positive snippets of my day and house my gratitude lists. I've been realizing lately that I've been needing to keep a journal separate from my regular one filled with only the good stuff to look at when I'm feeling down. 25. Loved this planner for a daily journal. I too have a little one and I have tons of plans for her vs what I actually get done, right? So for that I like writing every day what I actually did and highlights of the rest of my family. Love watching your videos, so helpful and love your insight, keeps me going ( abonny@aol.com )

  26. Hi Vicky, I always loved journaling. But this year you have really inspired me to keep a hobonichi journal that i made (draw) myself (with your 'instructions' on youtube :-)) and every day i fill it in with a lot of love. Thanks, I enjoy it! The Molang Diary really makes me smile. I have Crohn disease,no medications are working, and this stadium in my life I want to keep like a medical journal type of thing where i put chronically my food journal in, a registre with all the medicins i take, operations, a general health journal,... Because the Molang is so cute and really makes me smile, it would be perfect for that! I would also bring it to my doctor appointments (every 2 weeks I have to go to the doctor) where the doctor gets a nice summary from the last 2 weeks. If I win this, you may wright something in it :-) I am a fan. If I don't win... I love you and I hope you will keep on making fantastic videos! Toedeloe ! xxxx Inneke (innevandamme@hotmail.com)

  28. Hi Vicky!
Another super great video! I am truly addicted to watching your YouTube Channel, lol. I would love to enter the giveaway. If I were to receive the Molang Diary, well, I really like the way your are using the one as a smash book type of journal. I have been keeping journals since I was a little girl. I have always kept most of mine as the "dear Diary" types you talked about in your one video. Having a journal/notebook has long been my outlet and my confidant. Anyway, love, love your channel! All the best, Plzzzz keep on with the fauxbonichi/ or Hobonichi flips. They are fantastic. TTFN, AngiP

  29. Hi Vicky. I have enjoyed reading all of your blog posts and watching your channel. I ran out to the bookstore to get a planner for the hobonichi (fauxbonichi) style. I even got my kids to do one. We had a lot of fun and I got to see some insight as to what they are thinking. It became a great way to do something together during the summer. Now that school is starting this would be a great journal to keep a few thoughts- from them- about each of their days. It would be a great thing to be able to look back on as they get older. dylanjakecat@gmail.com

  34. Hi Vicky.....Sorry if you're getting two responses from me, I thought I just replied but it disappeared.

I just recently found your videos and am just loving them, they are so informative and interesting. As a fellow "stationery junkie" myself, this just seems perfect. I am a mom to two adorable kiddos (7 and 3.5 yrs) and I think this journal would go to great use documenting their days. I find that they grow up and I forget to document the little things in their lives that are so fun to look back on, so I would use this as a bullet journal and daily "remember they did this" kind of thing. Thanks for a great giveaway and keep up the great videos, they are awesome.

    Thanks,
    Gina

  35. Hi Vicky,

I love the fact you can start this diary any time you want. That's an incentive to get recording/organising straight away.

I am about to embark on a massive project. My first ever attempt at writing a full length novel, and I think this would be a great progress diary to journal daily thoughts or goals within the weekly section, and use the monthly section to write down my daily (and ongoing total) word counts. I think it would be a super way to keep me motivated and on track.

Thank you so much for all your hard work producing your great videos and blog. I found you on YouTube first. I love them both. As long as you keep posting, I'll keep watching/reading.

    Warmest wishes
    Paula

  36. Hello Vicky,
    I love your video's!
I would love to use this molang diary as a visual reflection diary. I am not creative at all but wld love to be so wld use this to draw a picture each day of something that has happened during the day (much like you use ur Hobonichi for) to unleash my creativeness and also have a visual record of my year rather than just a written one. I currently own a planner but nothing for reflection and memories.

    Thank you,

  43. I too have a obsession towards Korean stationary, they are so cute and fun! I've got quite a big year ahead of me at school, therefore I would use the diary for organising my school year, eg: school presentation evenings, my test and exam dates. Also for use as a daily/weekly journal and just a general diary, I love your idea of the photograph of the day! It's so cool! (Molliehenson@hotmail.co.uk)

  45. Great review of a cute journal. I watch your YT vids often for your ideas on how you use your many journals (I'm a journal collector too & love to see what's new out there! :)) I think I would use this journal to keep mini chronicles of my day as the sections are small & not overwhelming to try to fill. I'm working on getting more regular with daily journaling. tfs Be blessed, Suzanne :) Thanks for the chance to win!! =) (s.roachford@live.ca)

  47. Thank you so much. I followed you on YT and now here. My email is catchingcodyk@gmail.com.
I would use mine for a reference book for my journals/trackers. That way I can be messy and crazy in those but this can be a clean, easy way to see where everything is. (example I wrote in my journaling about being out all day but I also did some art journaling. In the molang I would write where I was and where to find it AND what I art jorunaled.)

  48. I have 9 boys, 1 girl, 3 granddaughters, 1,grandson, and 2 grandbabies due later this year. This year I have 3 kids in college, 1 in high school, and my baby is in middle school. My life is in my planner! If it isn't in my planner it will not get done or attended.
I would use this planner to keep track of school schedules, work schedules, important dates, and appointments, etc. I would not want to bulk it up like my disc planner. This one I would like to keep nice and take it with me where ever I happen to be.
    Thank you for this opportunity!
